Basically, HCM is how companies make sure their employees are happy and fulfilled at their jobs.
Time Management Platform
A time data management mini-app that helps to report and analyze and manage the incoming data on the Lifion time apps for submissions to payroll across given pay-periods. The app also manages the business event and orchestrates the value of organizational HR activity which impacts the time submission for employees.
Design Brief:
Time administrator, is responsible to manage the time punches logged by 10k employees across 20 departments. The time punch machine is integrated with TimeApp, a tool to manage the time data and report the hours logged by every employee to the Payroll system.
For every month, the time punches data coming into the TimeApp, usually has errors like Employee not found, Location missing, Invalid Cost center, Job assignment missing etc. which needs to be removed or rectified. Post managing these errors, Adam has to submit all the valid records to the Payroll system.
Design an interface to visualize the data flow within TimeApp and manage all the incoming data before publishing it to Payroll. Focus on principles like simplicity, efficiency, user control and freedom to make Adam’ life easy!
